The UUCG Endowment Fund
The UUCG Endowment Fund is meant to strengthen our faith community in the years to come. Friends and members of UUCG can make lasting financial contributions to the mission of this church.
What would the Endowment Fund be able to help with?
Distributions from the Fund are able to support our mission of helping improve the larger community. Endowment Fund disbursements could increase our support for local agencies such as Urban Ministry or Hospice that help ease suffering of our neighbors.
The Fund may help pay for major capital expenditures. This will come in handy, for example, if our roof ever leaks or we need to make a significant improvement to the physical property.
We could send our youth to a future district Convention, or send our elected officers to leadership training, or to fund special events.
The UUCG Endowment Fund is administered by the Committee on Endowment, elected by the Congregation. The Fund is held in the Unitarian Universalist Association Common Endowment Fund.
Please remember the UUCG Endowment Fund when you are deciding what lasting influence you want to have in this world. Gifts such as cash, securities, or life insurance may be made at any time. And you can make a testamentary gift by including us in your will or memorial contributions.
Memorial Garden Paving Stones
We are also accepting subscriptions for engraved paving stones in our Memorial Garden for a contribution of $200 or more. Each four-by-eight-inch paver will accept up to three lines of up to 12 characters each. Please contact one of the committee members if you are interested in a paver.
