I retired 2 years ago from a career in purchasing for fairly large wholesale distribution companies. My wife Nora and I joined the UU Church in Meriden, Connecticut about 20 years ago, and moved to Greensboro 10 years ago, joining the church here at that time. Having spent most of my life enduring New England winters, I love Greensboro weather. In CT I served on the Committee on Ministry and also as treasurer for 3 years. In Greensboro I have served as a co-chair of our annual pledge drive and am most currently active as a Sunday collection teller. Now that I have retired, serving on the Search Committee is a way I can give back to this UU Greensboro church that has given me many opportunities for intellectual and spiritual growth.
